Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the description Nahum gives of Your power. I praise Your Holy character. You only use Your power to hold the wicked accountable and protect the righteous. Please guide us to seek You first for the help and protection we need. Our lives seem so unsafe to us. Please remind us of Your strength and how You use it.

Please help us as we navigate “things on the earth”. We have so much that calls for our attention. Please open our eyes to the truth of what is most important in this life. We need Your help.
