Strength and Refuge

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us Your words. Thank You for telling the Israelites to fix Your words in their mind and beings. Thank You for the physical imagery of keeping them close. Thank You for reminding us in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 that, “All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man or woman of God may be fully capable, equipped for every good work.”
We know that Your word is important, but it can be too easy to put it aside for easier, short-term pleasures. Please help us to prioritize the importance of the Bible and “fix Your words into our minds and beings.” There is nothing more important.
I pray this in Jesus’ name.
God is so good.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for providing Jesus as the bread of life. All of humanity needs to recognize the necessity of trusting in Jesus Christ for salvation from sins. Thank You that once we are saved we will always be saved. Please help those of us who have trusted in Jesus to share the good news with others. Please show the unsaved that they have a hunger for the bread of life so they can glorify Your name for all eternity.
I pray this in Jesus name.
God is so good.

Dear Heavenly Father, we get so tired with the many challenges we face. We need to wait on You, but our ability to hold on seems so weak. Please help us to wait on You. We need Your strength to do what is needed. As we gain strength, we will praise Your name even more.
I pray this in Jesus’ name.
God is so good.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your goodness and loyal love. We pray for Your deliverance. Rescue us from the enemies who want to silence us. Then we will be able to continue our declaration of Your goodness.
I pray this in Jesus’ name.
God is so good.
