Dear Heavenly Father, we often want people to think well of us. However, pleasing You should be our only thought. Please help us to study Your Word so we know what is pleasing to you. Please guide our understanding as we read and listen to the teaching of the Bible. We need Your help to guide our thinking to be more like Yours.

I pray in Jesus’ name.

God is so good.
