Blessed Action
Dear Heavenly Father, we like action when we feel good about the action and the results. However, our action needs to be based in Your word as You have told us in these verses. Please guide us to take faithful action according to the instructions in the Bible. We need Your help to act appropriately and enjoy the blessing.

Remain
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You that You want a relationship with us. Thank You that Jesus died on the cross, was buried, and rose again. Please help us to understand what we should do to remain or abide in You. We are prone to doing things on our own and accomplishing nothing. Please give us a hunger to “bear much fruit” that pushes us to remain as You intend.

Treasure
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the reminder that our lives need to be lived with eternity in mind. Please help us to see when we have allowed the “treasure” of this life take over. Please guide us to store up treasure that doesn’t decay. Thank You for directing our hearts toward the eternal treasure of heaven.

God With Us
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for providing Jesus. Holy God coming in the form of man, providing what we need to spend eternity with You. I am in awe of the miracle of a virgin birth so that God could be with us. Your love is beyond comprehension. Please help us to have the appropriate awe and thankfulness for this wonderful gift.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for using the lowly for Your honor and glory. We are prone to want what we consider glorious, but You often use what is humble. Please help us to be humble servants. Remembering to give You the glory and praise for Your use of the insignificant.
